Other laser hair removal side effects are extremely rare and are usually caused by a few known factors.  Those with darker skin or lighter hair are more likely to experience side effects such burning, skin discoloration, and blistering.  Laser hair removal is typically performed on those with dark hair and light skin because the lasers are best at zapping dark hair against the contrasting light skin.  If your skin is tan, it is recommended to wait until the tan has lightened to get the procedure done, otherwise the chances increase of experiencing side effects.
