Hair Transplant for a Friend

We grew up together in South Philly; an odd pair — the dark haired, Italian kid and the big, blond Jewish kid. Despite our different backgrounds, to this day we’re still buddies. We’ve stayed good friends, through college, grad school, weddings, births, bar mitzvahs and confirmations. Greg’s always been someone you can count on. He’s honest. He’s loyal. He’s a straight shooter.

Greg was always one of the brightest students at Central High School. He always pushed himself academically and knew that one day he’d be a surgeon. After Central, he went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania, graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was presented with the highly prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Award. He completed his medical training at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. After finishing an internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Greg completed his dermatologic training at the Temple University Health Sciences Center. Greg – Dr. Pistone – has always been brilliant, and he’s always been my trusted friend. 

That’s why when my hair began thinning, actually, I was pretty darn bald at the time, so it was a no-brainer that I turned to Greg. I trusted Greg. My objective was to look my best for my son’s bar mitzvah. It was my son’s coming-of-age ceremony and I didn’t want to look as though time had passed me by. Your son’s bar mitzvah is one of the most significant events you’ll ever experience. I wanted to look my best for my son, my wife and myself. I was tired of looking older than I actually was. Greg and I mapped out a strategy so that my new hair growth would coincide with my son’s bar mitzvah. I underwent the procedure. Everything went according to plan. Even though Greg told me that it would be easier than catching a pop fly, I couldn’t believe how quick and painless the whole experience was.

Needless to say, the bar mitzvah was a huge success and so was my hair. I’ve got the pictures to prove it. Thanks Greg. You are a lifelong-pal and a lifesaver.
